Set
against a dramatic and typically winterish grey sky, we
began our tests of the launcher. You are looking at three
chappies here, each of whom are sweating that they are
about to pick the short straw and have to be the first
in...
As
they sweat silently together, they are definately wondering
whether the bungee cords are going to be too tight and
the acceleration too great? Or would it just wimp out
near the end because we hadn't pulled on enough pressure?

| Well,
as it turned out, we got it just about right first time
and the lucky chap (seen here in Yellow jacket) escaped
virtually unscathed. As a matter of fact, they pretty much
guarantee that
he'll be out in time for Christmas! (Some wry humour
there, sorry! Enda)...Now, in the meantime, we're going
to concentrate on making a bigger launcher, with even stronger
bungee cord, and a more vicious kick! (0-60 in 1 second
anyone??) BACK
